CHUSD Alt Ed Graduation Track Pathways

The CHUSD Alternative Education "Success Ed Track" is a specialized graduation pathway designed to support 12th-grade students who are committed to completing their high school education within the Alternative Education setting. This track allows students to earn a High School Diploma through reduced credit requirements that meet and exceed the State of California minimum standards. The purpose of this pathway is to provide a viable and rigorous option for students who may not be able to complete the traditional credit requirements within the standard timeline. Schedule a meeting with the Alternative Education counselor for more information about this track.

Key Details:

  • The Success Ed Track is only available to 12th-grade students who plan to graduate from CHUSD Alternative Education (Cambridge High School, Chesnut High School, or Culwell Community Day School).

  • Students on this track will follow a revised credit requirement that supports timely graduation while still ensuring the essential coursework for a High School Diploma.

  • This track is not intended for students planning to return to Coalinga High School.**

**Important Note: If a student and/or parent decides to return to the Traditional Graduation Track, the student must then meet the full district graduation requirements, including all course credits required by Coalinga High School.
